I am happy you’re here.
So here’s what I see. A huge, deep need for conversations that connect us. You know why?
Every day we wake up hearing new and alarming ways to keep us divided. There’s rage over gender, class, race and sexuality. Social media is stuffed with noise that’s far from social.
Precious energy, wasted.
Well, I want to flip the script – with a little bit of lip – and a lot of heart, joy, truth and hope.
Whether you are black, white, purple, straight, gay or undecided, man, woman or in transition. I care not. I simply care that we connect, not in spite of, but because of how we look, live and love.
So, it is my greatest wish that, as you watch our show, your heart is opened by some of the planet’s most Luscious, Inspiring and Passionate people.
From award-winning musicians and storytellers to artists, singers, magicians and even a 70-something retiree who may have time travelled from Jane Austen’s era to join us, humanity has never felt so good.

What the L?
I’ve always had a soft spot for Salvador Dali.
I wear his watch. His brooch. I covet his art. I’ve even interviewed artists inspired by this surreal dude! So, when life presented me with an opportunity to have a replica of his iconic Lip Lounge in my living room, I leapt at it. The concept for our show was born and L moved into my life.
Yep, my lounge’s name is L and I often joke that she is the star of the show ’cause something happens when my guests and I join her. They choose an L word that underlines our conversation and then… in spite of the ‘hot stage lights,’ we get intimate and honest, raw and sweet but never sugar-coated. And then, we overshare – which I adore because naked connection, liberates.
All the ingredients that make us human – incredible, fallible but ultimately loveable.
